Life insurance is a tough subject for many. Asking some to discuss their own death, let alone choosing a cash value for your life. But at the same time it is a true testament to your character. I recommend not looking at it as how much you are worth, but how much you are capable of giving to your beneficiaries. Usually this is a spouse or children, but frequently it is a business that has other families relying on its continuity to sustain jobs and lifestyles.

The reason life insurance is so important is that it transcends markets and business cycles. It is immediately available. The world won't stop turning with my passing I know. But my dreams and goals, my family and business will continue.
